The Wolery
After 5 years Le Petit Bois is done and dusted Monsieur and Madam Denechaud are now the custodians of our resurrected property. We could not have wanted better, they will love our property like we did.
Now the kids have gone and its the 2 of us its on to the next episode
Being homeless we decided to go on a well deserved holiday to Antigua.
We got back to find that unfortunately the "Hangar" had a hang-up, there was just no way around the CU (changing hangar to a house)as the PLU (definition on buildable land) problem could not be resolved but as I always say
"What will be, will be"
so on to the next panic!!
We were expecting to be able to stay at an empty cottage of some friends of ours Graham & Sandy for a couple of months while the Hangar sorted itself and on our return found that although the house had been pretty much unused in 5 years Graham got his early retirement and they then decided to rent their house out in the UK and move over to France, SO, this gave us 10days to find an alternative.
Long story short while in the UK we dashed around and found a caravan (iPhone photo at Dover docks.)
That way at least we would have a roof over our head regardless
Our friends the Holdsworths came to our rescue and let us use the their barn too so at least we had shelter and electricity and make ourselves comfortable for as long as it took to find another place and complete which is generally 3+months in France....
It took just 1 week and a 1000miles to find a place!
