The moment we opened the gate the 2 of us knew this was the one

IT JUST FELT RIGHT!!

Trudy immediately had a grin from ear to ear until I prodded her and said

"act nonchalantly, dont look so excited, I want to get the price down"

I must have had a poker face because our first offer was accepted

It is in the department of the Correze.

It is a small cosy cottage but is livable in an old "French lady sort of way"and easily extendable without losing its charm, there is only a little wood clad barn so if I want one for a decent workshop, I will have to design and build a purpose made one; what a hardship!!

Plenty big enough for the 3 dogs, a cat, more chickens, ducks, a couple of lambs and possibly a pig...

It had been empty since 2007 and we believe it was just waiting for us to be ready
